Contact form submissions

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Any other information you choose to include in your message

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website. Google Analytics collects information such as:

  • Device type and operating system

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page

  • How you arrived at the website (e.g. via a search engine)

Google Fonts

This website uses Google Fonts, loaded from Google’s servers. When your browser requests a font file, your IP address is sent to Google. We have no control over how Google processes this data. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in presenting the website in its intended design (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

4. How long we keep your data

  • Contact form submissions: we retain correspondence only for as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry, and delete it once it is no longer needed.

  • Google Analytics data: retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted by Google. You can review and adjust this in Google Analytics settings.

  • Google Fonts requests: we do not store this data ourselves. Refer to Google’s data retention policies.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with the following third parties as described in this notice:

  • Google LLC – for Google Analytics and Google Fonts (see above). Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and implements Standard Contractual Clauses as a transfer safeguard.

  • Our email/hosting provider – contact form submissions are transmitted via SMTP to our web server’s email platform. This provider processes data only on our behalf and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access – to request a copy of the data we hold about you

  • Right to rectification – to request we correct inaccurate data

  • Right to erasure – to request we delete your data in certain circumstances

  • Right to restrict processing – to request we limit how we use your data
