Creating a corset
I undertook a two-week placement in my second year of university at Love Leanne Clothing. My role as studio assistant consisted of Costume Organisation at BOA Stage and Screen College and clothing manufacture in the company’s studio.

Styling the corset
once the corset had been made, I was able to play around with a variety of styling options using garments and accessories that LLC had already made.

I was able to incorporate technical skills and quick learning by recreating one of the company’s signature corsets and crafting silk flowers for a client’s wedding dress.
